Today is Diwali, the Hindu “Festival of Lights” that celebrates the triumph of good over evil. This month, “Into the Light” is the name of the sermon series at my church. Next Monday, my kids will light their jack-o-lanterns and will carry their flashlights to illuminate the darkness, as they go in search of treats.
This recurring theme of light reminded me of my favorite scene from my favorite TV show. Whether you are a Hindu, a Christian, a Pagan, or just someone who celebrates the light after a period of darkness, I thought you would enjoy the clip below.
